Lucy on the loose
Lucy has finally graduated to "off leash" at the dog park. The usual crowd gathered and I decided to engage them to help me watch Lucy. I was certain she would take off for Canada. Instead, she stood watch and hardly moved a muscle.
That was until her buddy (co-dependent relationship) Lou showed up and they got into it as usual. This time Lou didn't have Lucy's lead to pull around, so he tried to pull her around directly. She took after him as you can see in this somewhat blurred photo.
Lou is loosing his teeth. His owner Joel examined Lou and discovered he had lost a canine this time.

Apartment complete with the bed
The bed finally arrived. It is a Japanese platform bed. It sits about 1/2 the distance of a couch to the floor. Temperpedic mattress for comfort.
I have two entertainment centers now and one is in the bedroom along with my library.
The painting you see hung in my parents home in the dining room. Little did I know as a child I would later appreciate Asian art and use that very painting so many years later.

Lucy at the park
Seems many people living on the River Market have dogs. There is one special dog park where most let their pet run off-leash. I'm a bit nervous to let Lucy off-leash just now. However I do lay the lead down on the ground and that alone seems to slow her down a bit. It also is an attraction for her friend names "Lou", a 3 month British Bull Dog. He likes to pull on the lead and drag Lucy around. She of course plays hard to get.
Today was the Broadway Bridge Run. The police were out with their horses. I persuaded a bystander to hold the lead while I took a picture of Lucy's amazmenet. She had never seen a horse before and it was all hands on deck to keep her from getting under foot and becoming a field goal. Finally I held her up to get a sniff.
